    Assistant Dean of Conduct and Compliance and

    Director of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity

    Diane is the Director of SCAI and has been with the department since 1999. She is responsible for implementing the mission and vision of the department and divisional collaboration with other departments. She oversees conduct cases against KSU students involving allegations of academic and disciplinary misconduct. She coordinates and trains the University hearing panel(s) to hear cases arising from violations of the Student Code of Conduct. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Emory University and Juris Doctor from University of Georgia. She also received a Master of Public Administration degree from Kennesaw State University.

      Associate Director

      Colin is the Associate Director of SCAI and joined the department in January 2010. He is primarily responsible for supervising the office and hearing suspension and expulsion level cases arising from violations of the Student Code of Conduct. His previous positions include Assistant Director of North Campus Residence Life at the University of South Carolina, Complex Director of Residence Life at Virginia Tech, and Assistant Hall Director of Residence Life at University of Pittsburgh. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from University of Pittsburgh in August 2003 and his Master of Education in Student Affairs and Higher Education Management from University of Pittsburgh in May 2005.

        • Nicole Kogan

          Assistant Director for Student Conduct

          Nicole joined SCAI as the Assistant Director for Student Conduct in January 2017. Her responsibilities include investigating suspension and expulsion level cases arising from violations of the Student Code of Conduct, adjudicating lower level violation cases, providing training/programs to campus partners, and assisting the daily management of the office. Previously, Nicole was the Residential Conduct Coordinator at the University of West Georgia, the Residence Life Coordinator for Conduct and Administration at Florida International University, and served as a Residence Life Coordinator at FIU and Eastern Washington University. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wittenberg University (Ohio), and her Master of Science in Education for College Student Development and Administration from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse.
